Excellent Advice For Keeping Up A Good Level Of Fitness
Many people find that boosting their fitness levels is difficult to do. However, reaching your fitness goal is not necessarily painful or hard. All it takes is some small lifestyle changes and a little motivation, and you can easily reach your goal of good physical fitness!
Don’t have a large chunk of time to devote to exercising? Do two shorter workouts instead of one long one. You don’t have to make the workout longer, just split it. Rather than spending 60 minutes jogging, run for half an hour near the beginning of your day and then again nearer the end. If you would rather not go to the gym 2 times a day, then do one workout at the gym and one at home.
Lift weights in less than an hour. Muscle wasting can begin in as little as an hour after starting an intense workout. With this in mind, don’t do multi-hour weight lifting sessions.
When lifting weights it is not always true that the more weight the stronger you will be. Light weights for longer time periods can do this as well. Building muscle mass is as much about endurance and stamina as it is about lifting heavy loads. Many people are known to use this method and it works.
Cycling at a speed of about eighty to a hundred rotations per minute is best for any long distance ride. You will be able to ride farther at a faster pace without causing undue strain on your knees. If you count the times your leg on the right lifts up every ten seconds and times it by six you can set a pace. This is the rpm you should strive for.
Achieving your fitness goals is worth the work you put in. You will look better and you will feel better as well. When you are fit, you’ll be better able to face the day’s challenges and approach life with true passion.
